Stuart receiving an official greeting from the Mayor of Bournemouth , Councillor Barry Goldbart to take in February 2010 to the Mayor of Pärnu, Mr Toomas Kivimagi. Councillor Barry Goldbart held office as Mayor between 2009- 2010, and gave much encouragement to Hopestonia and it's Co-Founder Stuart Chalmers.
Pärnu
Toomas Kivimagi, Mayor of Pärnu, receives the written greeting from Mayor Barry Goldbart and sends back artefacts from Pärnu as a gift from the
Hanseatic City. The Mayor of Pärnu, Mr Kivimagi was gracious enough to spend over an hour and a half in the initial meeting with Stuart and in that meeting relationship grew between the two
Saardevald
During the last STMS to Estonia Stuart, Jane and Mike and Dee Briston were invited to the Town Hall (Vallavalitsus) to meet with the Chief Children's Social Specialist we were led to believe. Actually we were shown into the office of the Mayor, Kalle Song who after several minutes of introduction presented Stuart on behalf of Hopestonia with a plaque to say thank you for the support we had shown in funding food and medication for the homeless and vulnerable of the authority in Saarde.
